Gurus say you need to market your business with social media…I slapped up an ugly opt-in box and blew the experts away!
Look, the opt-in box is NOT going to win any design awards, but…that’s not the point!
The point is — it WORKS! Don’t get me wrong, improvements can be made and that my friends is the beauty of online marketing…implementation.
You see, I tend to make things way more difficult than they need to be. It’s my personality. I’m a detail person, better known in some circles as a nerd. This isn’t a bad thing, in fact it means I’m interested in getting things done right and with a level of quality.
The problem arises and I believe most business owners would agree, is when over-analyzing leads to procrastination. Then it becomes a problem.
More times than not I find I just need to get it out there, like Dan Kennedy says, “Good enough is good enough.”
